Comprehensive criminal background check that searches numerous databases and county records. To conduct the screening, there is a one-time $15 investment by the Gopher.

Let's Get Started
- Select the screening option that works best for you (Gopher Pro or Gopher Pro+).
- You’ll be sent to the Yardstik portal to complete your background screening.
- You will be notified of your results within about a week.
- Once you’ve passed, you’ll see a new look and badge on your Gopher Profile.
- Requesters will now see that you are a verified Gopher Pro/Pro+, which dramatically increases your likelihood of being selected!
Results Process
Once your background screening has concluded, 1 of 2 things will happen.
- You’ll receive confirmation that your screening was “cleared” and we we’ll immediately start the process of changing your Gopher Profile to show you’re a Gopher Pro or Gopher Pro+
- You’ll receive notice that your background check has records that may affect your Gopher status. You will receive a copy of the report and will have a chance to dispute the results with Yardstik.
