How it all started.
One beautiful day in Raleigh, North Carolina,
pals John Newbury and Tom Livolsi were out playing
golf when they ran out of beverages.
With no caddie or cart, and as far from the clubhouse as they could be, there wasn’t much they could do to fix the situation themselves — and that sparked an idea: What if there was an app that could fetch us anything we fancied, right here, right now? The very next day, Gopher was born!
Today, the Gopher Marketplace hosts over 70,000 users in cities throughout North Carolina and across the United States. From food delivery to moving services to errand running to landscaping and whatever else the people need, Gopher gets it done.
