How it all started.
One beautiful day in Raleigh, North Carolina, pals John Newbury and Tom Livolsi were out playing golf when they ran out of beverages and no beverage cart in sight.
With no caddie or cart, and as far from the clubhouse as they could be, there wasn’t much they could do to fix the situation themselves — and that sparked an idea: What if there was an app where we could have literally anything brought to us, right here, right now? The very next day, Gopher was born!
Today, the Gopher Marketplace hosts well over 120,000 users in cities throughout North Carolina and across the United States. And now… WAY more than just a delivery platform. Gopher is quickly becoming the ultimate community-powered marketplace—delivering affordable, reliable services with unmatched accessibility for customers, workers, and local merchants.
